The Carbon Accounted Program is Avvena's voluntary program designed to encourage and reward companies committed to controlling and reducing their greenhouse gas emissions.

Quantifying emissions marks the initial phase of implementing targeted reduction measures tailored to your business's circumstances. Despite being increasingly regulated, conducting a greenhouse gas assessment remains a voluntary endeavor for most European small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and very small enterprises (VSEs).
Designed to support and promote companies committed to net zero emissions, the Carbon Accounted program calls on the expertise of experienced carbon consultants and the use of easy-to-use tools to enable companies to integrate the carbon dimension into the day-to-day management of their business.

Assisting businesses on their journey towards achieving net zero.

What do companies commit to?

  1. Each year, the quantification of your operational CO2 emissions (Scope 1, 2, or Scope 1, 2 + 3) is conducted using the AvvenaPRO® tool, which follows the GHG Protocol methodology;
  2. Determination of a concrete reduction target and a plan to reduce direct and indirect emissions, involving your stakeholders;
  3. Commitment to implement a minimum of 3 actions over 12 months;
  4. Offsetting incompressible emissions (optional) through our carbon offset program;
  5. Yearly assessment conducted by an Avvena consultant and establishment of fresh reduction objectives;
  6. Transparent communication of their environmental commitments.

 Throughout the year, your company's voluntary dedication is showcased through the logo granted to those who demonstrate a comprehensive measurement of their Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, along with a pledge to reduce both direct and indirect emissions through an action plan.

Each company is reassessed every 12 months.
