In France, large companies have been required to report on their social and environmental responsibility since 2001. Initially restricted to listed companies, the threshold of the obligation is constantly widening. Since 1 August 2017, the CSR report (known as "CSR reporting") has given way to the extra-financial performance statement (commonly known as "extra-financial reporting"). As the new system is resolutely geared towards large companies, Air Corsica now includes the new scope of companies concerned.
According to Article L.225-102-1 of the French Commercial Code, the extra-financial performance statement must include information on how the company takes into account the social, environmental and societal consequences of its activity.
In collaboration with Air Corsica's stakeholders, Avvena was asked to produce a statement presenting the company's situation, the evolution of its business, its economic and financial results and the impact of its activity. The report is freely accessible on the website www.aircorsica.com
